What do you consider "evening" appointments?

Just curious, what do you consider "evening" appointments?  And, does the field matter in your defination (medical, retail, services, etc)

thanks

Re: What do you consider "evening" appointments?

  • I have my own business and when I schedule evening appts, I consider them to be 5:00 pm and on. I'm not sure I understand the second part of your question though.
  • I call an evening appt anything 5pm or after. Maybe 4:30 but not before that.
  • I am just wondering because I called a medical office who state that they have evening appointments.  But, when asked - they told me the last appointment times were at 6pm.  That is not very evening to me.  And, it was not just the available appointments, that was in general.

I would think it would mean that that have appointments after 5pm, maybe until 8ish or so.

maybe I am just asking too much.

The second part of the question - well, I thought maybe for services, evening appts would be (ie) from 5-9 or so.  But, medical appts maybe last appt time would be earlier

  • 5pm and later.
I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

  • Anything after 5 is evening to me. 6 isn't very late, but it's definitely evening.

  • After 6p
  • Well since business hours are 9-5, technically it'd be 5. but i'd consider it after 6, since a 5:00 appt still means leaving work early.  most doctors offices have 2-3 nights of being open until 730. I think mine closes from 4-5, and then reopens at 5 until 730 a few nights, so he can have something to eat, or make a run to the hospital or whatever (single dr practice)
