What are the meds you HAVE to buy at the vet's office?
We bought Heartworm/ Flea medicine last week when we are at the vets' office for Super Kitty. Is that something we can get in the store? We paid $16.99 for it.
Re: What are the meds you HAVE to buy at the vet's office?
ok do not go to petmeds...they are SO FREAKING OVERPRICED!!!! I have ordered my Frontline from Petcarerx (I sent you the referral link) and I always get Laddie's Deramaxx (arthritis med) because it is cheaper with the coupon codes I use. The only thing is your vet has to be willing to fill a prescription from elsewhere...in the beginning, I would call the internet site you are ordering from, then make sure your vet got it...or this could create problems. The heartguard I get for the dogs is a lot cheaper in the vet's office than online and often there are some kind of promotion involved. For example, I just spent $123 on a 12 month rx for the big dogs, and a 12 month rx for the little dogs. Heartguard is having some promotion where I get a rebate back. The vet will be mailing me the equivalent of two doses of heartguard because it is essentially buy 12 get one free.
YOU HAVE TO REALLY WATCH where you buy online because there is quite a bit counterfeit frontline or frontline that is not legal for US standards (the uk version with kilograms for example). Check your vet first, but petcarerx is legitimate because I am an expert with spotting counterfeit frontline, lol.
You will forever be my best friend. I can almost feel our hugs. I will ensure everyone will know (now and in the future) what a genuine, kind, loving person you were...I already miss your laughter and our daily conversations. I love you, Samantha. May 20, 1983- February 20, 2012
