children's dentist or general dentist that is good with kids?
We don't have dental insurance for DS, but I think he is overdue for his first check up. Does anyone have any recs for a dentist in the Glendale-ish area of town, or somewhere nearby?

Hi Jenny!
My best friend Katy (used to teach with me and Karla), her husband just opened a pediatric dentistry office in the highlands. I know it's not in Glendale, but it's awesome. George would not even get in the chair so Tim just checked him out standing up and didn't charge us It's called Tennyson Pediatric Dentistry on Tennyson and 44th.
It's not in Glendale, but we go to Village Dental in Greenwood Village (in the Triad business park off of Quebec between Belleview and Orchard). Dr. Zervas.
He and his staff are awesome. He has 2 kids of his own (both a bit younger than mine), and he sees all 4 of us. Willis had to get a cavity filled recently and had a dandy time - he got laughing gas and everyone did great. Georgia just had her first visit last month.
Plus, I had a major dental issue in December and explained I'd probably need to wait until January so I'd have FSA funds to pay for it - he saw me anyway and didn't charge me.
In short, I love them.
Hi Anne! So happy to see you here!! Gus is getting so BIG! too cute!
I will definitely look into this! thanks so much!
