Pearland ENT or Bay Area ENT?
Anyone go to one of these? Any recs one way or another? (My pedi rec'ed these to get a second opinion on DD's tongue tie). TIA!
Re: Pearland ENT or Bay Area ENT?
BFP with no treatment!
mine is in the med center.
dr. michael kaplan at medical center ent's, in o'quinn at st lukes
eta: sorry! i thought you meant those specific areas, but you're talking about specific practices. forgive my pg brain!
I seriously didnt know this was so common. I had my frenulum cut but not until I was in my 20's. My health or speech was never effected as a child, purely cosmetic.
I also have a pretty severe tongue tie. I had some small speech issues when I was younger, but they worked themselves out. If the ENT thinks that DD's will be as severe as mine, I would rather get her a quick snip now, than for her to have to look at surgical procedures down the road since the nerves and blood vessels grow in that area as they get older. I also may talk to the ENT about getting mine cut - moreso for comfort than a medical reason, though.
Another vote for Dr Chester Strunk at Bay Area. Dr Strunk removed my tonsils and corrected my hubbys sinus issues.
I have a personal rec for Dr Strunk. He's been friends with my dad since elementary school and they were college roommates, too.
