What are you missing this winter?
Since we have had a mild winter, what winter things are you missing?
On the other hand, is there anything the mild winter has allowed you to do that you normally wouldn't?
Re: What are you missing this winter?
I can honestly say there is nothing about winter I miss. I just don't like it at all.
The mild winter has allowed me to drive stress-free, without worrying about idiots behind the wheel, not needing extra time for snow removal from my jeep, etc.
I have to agree about the driving. We were in a bad accident in November after slipping on some black ice and being able to drive on mostly clean roads has helped me readjust to driving again and not freaking out every time I do.
About the only thing I miss is seeing my dogs prance around in the snow. It hasn't been deep enough for them to really have a good time yet!
I commute to Ann Arbor now for work, and I am so, so thankful that the lack of snow has meant great driving weather!
My husband snow plows for extra income, and the lack of snow has meant no plowing, so no extra money. But he gets to stay home more, so that is good. Last year, he paid for our whole honeymoon with the extra income he got from plowing.
I hate everything about winter. I could care less if it ever snowed!! So I've been super happy. I actually just packed away the winter coats and snow pants! ... so it probably will snow now ... LOL (the kids don't wear bulky coats anyway)
On a good note I got 3 pair of winter snow boots for the older kids and dh for under $12!! This time of year you can never find boots!
Our baby girl!!
