Anyone see Journey 2: The Mysterious Island?

Mia wants to see it but after reading some reviews, I feel like parts might be too intense for her. Thoughts?

Re: Anyone see Journey 2: The Mysterious Island?

  • yeah my kids want to see it, almost 8 and 6 and I might take them. BUt they also want to see Big Miracle too which we will see first.

I usually check out this site to see why it got the rating and what other parents thought about it.

Then again I took both my kids to see War Horse which they LOVED LOL

  • We saw Big Miracle last week and she absolutely lost it midway through which is why I'm being extra cautious w/ this one. lol. I'll check out that site, thanks!

  • yeah I know what happens read the review. Ryan will cry I am sure. So will I. What upset them most at War Horse was the violence against horses, not people. Christ Ryan ran out of the room during My Dog Skip. Reilly, not much phases that one :-)

I was crying through most of Big Miracle. Mia was actually making fun of me through most of the movie until that scene, at which point she turned into a sobbing hysterical mess. My first instinct was to stick my finger in her face and laugh the way she had been doing to me but then I thought that might not be the best choice as a parent......
