Asian Market or bento boxes?

Can anyone recommend a good asian market or a good local spot for bento boxes?

Now that DD is into having a lot more play dates, I want to pick up some more snack bento boxes and lunch boxes to make cool snacks when other kids are over, and I'd rather go someplace local.

The asian market I went to last time closed. Boo.

Re: Asian Market or bento boxes?

  • I don't have a bento box persay, but I pack his lunch like one.  The sistema boxes at the container store come in lots of different shapes that work great for packing small snacks.
  • The Pacific Mercantile Company on Lawrence St. downtown might have what you are looking for. They have a decent sized section of asian kitchen items at pretty reasonable prices.
  • HMart out in Aurora may have what you're looking for.  It's the largest Asian Market that i've ever seen.

  • There's an H Mart at Parker & Yale......never been but my coworker recently made a trip so she could bake a Moon Pie!

Ditto this one, or Pacific Ocean Intl Supermarket on Alameda and Zuni has a lot of dishes and stuff. We use a Lunchbots box for DD's lunch, it is oval like a bento and has sections.

  • I do bento box lunches forLucy in the ziploc divided containers.  They work great and are super cheap!

eTA: you can get them at king soopers or target
