What can I do to stop this flu miserableness??
Having the flu + having both kids home + being 33 weeks pregnant might be the worst combination EVER. I"m counting down the minutes until my husband gets home and then I'm going in my room and closing the door (like I did last night). I'm snissing nonstop, I can't keep my eyes open, and aside from chugging Vitamin C, I don't know what else to do. I know there's Tamiflu or something that I can take, but is there anything else you can think of? I literally take 3 showers a day just so I can breathe.
Re: What can I do to stop this flu miserableness??
Have you tried a Neti Pot?
I've also been using this nasal spray. Its Afrin for severe congestion. It has menthol in it and burns but its the ONLY thing that clears me up.
Feel better
Do you have the flu? or a bad cold? The dr can test you to see what type of flu strain you have and then from there they can perscribe you something.. not sure about it during pg. But if you are pg and think youhave the flu you need to get to the dr asap especially with a fever.
If you have a bad head cold, you can try steam, eucalyptus oil in a diffuser or humidifier, TONS of water and other liquids.
