AW: I am NORMAL!
I am so thrilled! Today is the one year anniversary of my stem cell transplant. Last week I had my first annual bone marrow biopsy and blood work done. I went today for the results.
Everything came back completely normal! The measure of Myeloma (called M-spike) in my blood came back at 0!
Getting the results is like announcing the names of winners at the Oscars. Dr does not see them ahead of time. He opens them up when we are there. DH, the Dr, and I practically jumped out of our chairs when he started reading off the numbers!
While there is no cure (yet) to this cancer, I feel like I can close the chapter on it!
Thank you all for your love and support over the last 1.5 years. It has meant so much to me!
