Clicky Poll - Wall Decals

I'm thinking about changing up E's room when she gets a twin bed.. which will probably happen sometime this year - toddler bed is pretty small. I'm not sure if I like wall decals or not so I was curious what the nestie consensus was-

Re: Clicky Poll - Wall Decals

  • I just put these in my daughters room to dress it up a little.
  • I have a bible verse in my sons room, but I hate when wall decals are overdone, like on every wall of every room in the house.  So I would limit them.
  • I like them - a great/fast/easy way to perk up a room without committment.

we have 2 decals in Griffin's room (batman) and some in the twins room (2 einstein quotes above each crib + some cute circle/dots above the changing table area).

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

  • Check etsy - we got a really cute personalized superhero one for my son there. Plus a whole buttload of batman & spiderman ones. :) I think those came from Target & PBK.
  • Like any other artwork, they can be really cute or really bad. I'm looking into them because Julia wants a tree on the wall in her next room and I'm not nearly good enough to paint one myself.

  • i like them if they're well done. we have some up in trevor's room. it was an easy way to make his nursery into a big boy room and they can easily be peeled off if/when he changes what he likes

  • On my own walls no way but my kids room yes. But no cheesy sayings
  • I'm not really sure where my answer fits on your poll. M has Toy Story characters (gasp. characters!) and HE LOVES them. And they are easy to remove when he gets old, so I think they are awesome.

But hey, I also bought MH a Yoda for our basement/rec room.

  • Bella has a wall decal over her bed of her name. Then along the other walls are butterfly & flower decals I got as a set in Target. She loves them and they look do cute.
  • We did wall decals in K's room when we made it into the nursery. I got flowers and put them along the baseboard all the way around the room. I love it. They're the only wall decals we have in the house, though.
  • i selected special snowflake...

i like wall decals, and i think when used appropriately they can really add something special to a room...that said...everything in moderation...

  • In moderation and well placed, love them!  Overdone/all over the house, loathe them!  Also not a fan of character anything, wall decals included;)

  • What's funny is MH painted a tree with animals in his sister's baby's nursery but I'm looking at decals for our daughter's room. I don't know if I want to deal with all the nagging it will take for him to do it!
