We're starting to look at the "big ticket" items for baby and ratings and such. Plain and simple, I have no.use. for a 4 wheeled stroller. I find them to be bulky/awkward and difficult to maneuver. I'm sure they are good, but its just a personal preference. I want a stroller that is a jogger/all terrain that also fits the carseat to use as my everyday stroller as well. Back in '07 my sister had a Baby Trend that fit the bill, but it is no longer in production that I can find.
Any suggestions? I did find the Chicco S3, and I like it, but I've heard its still large even when folded up. (Not that thats a huge issue, but I just wanted other options too.)
Thanks so much ladies!!
Re: Tell me about your infant-carseat-compatible jogging stroller!
We have the Jeep Liberty jogging stroller. I've used it a couple of times so far and found it easy to manuever and especially easy to collapse. It is large when folded up though and takes up more room than I'd like in the back of my SUV. The main reason we bought it was b/c it was one of the only strollers we found that was car seat compatible with the infant seat we already owned.
This is our exact one- http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3502257&cp=2255957.2273443.3561177.3561193&green
We have the Bob and just bought the conversion bar to make it work. I adore the Bob and it's been fantastic for running. I trained for the half marathon with DD this year.
We got the Snap and Go for times we didn't want the big jogging stroller in places and could still use the infant car seat. Loved it.
are you looking for a stroller for actual jogging? or easier use around town? quinny makes quite a few 3 wheel strollers that are good for urban stuff and car seat compatible. Uppababy vista is even better.
but for actual jogging I'd go with charlotte's suggestions.
