Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge recommendation needed
Hi Ladies!!
My best friend is getting married the 1st weekend in June in Pigeon Forge-at Angel's View Wedding Chapel!
So~DH and I will be staying in the area Friday and Saturday night. We're looking for a reasonably priced hotel that's close to where the wedding will be-especially since we'll be in the hotel JUST to sleep-the rest of the time we'll be hanging out with everyone @ the cabin. I'm looking for something close to Angel's view Chapel and Black bear ridge resort. I've been looking at Grand Resort Hotel-I stayed there before, but it's been a LONG time. What's your opinion on this hotel? Are there any in that price range ($50-70/night would be ideal) that you would recommend??
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Re: Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge recommendation needed
We have stayed all over Pigeon Forge/Sevierville/Gatlinburg and I have not had any bad experiences at any of the hotels. That said, we enjoyed our stay at Grand Resort Hotel (maybe about a year and a half ago). We are usually like you, only sleeping in the hotels and not spending much time in them, so I say go for this one! It was very clean when we stayed and didn't have any problems with the management.

We decided to go ahead and try out Grand Resort Hotel. Just have to make the reservation now. :-)
