Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

...the sheer ecstasy of being able to Nest on MY laptop once again.
About six months ago, my laptop keyboard and trackpad began to cut out. Usually a reboot would fix it, but then it went out altogether. We're out of AppleCare time, and a full repair of everything (those issues, plus zero battery life plus a faulty plug port which only worked 1/10 of the time) cost over $300, which is far cheaper than buying a new Mac but still...
Thankfully DH green-lighted me to get it fixed, so I dropped it off last Friday. Tonight I sit with my Old Faithful laptop, unplugged and with a pristine new keyboard & trackpad panel.
It's heavenly. :P
