Ellen and her stupid good will
So I was trying to pick up Chinese food tonight. Traffic was beyond awful. I couldn't figure out what was going on but it was terrible and cops were directing traffic. Turns out the gas station right next door to the Chinese restaurant where I'd phoned in my order was giving away tanks of free gas courtesy of Ellen. And when you got a free tank of gas, you got entered in to win something like $5k worth of gas. News people were there covering the snarling traffic. All I know is I had to park about a block away from the Chinese place, hoof it over to pick up my food, cart it carefully back and fight my way out again.
Why can't Ellen choose it on a night when we AREN'T having Chinese food? ::: sigh :::

Ellen should really know better than to buy gas for people in HR. She should have done it in my hood where the poor people live.

I drove by there about 3:30 pm and wondered what the heck was going on!
Every time I see the word wondered I think someone is saying my name.
