Going to TX...any suggestions
I bought my hubby tickets to watch dirt biking show at the Cowboy Stadium in Arlington TX....The show is on Saturday...We will be staying Fri-Mon..Our hotel is in Arlington but we are willing to travel to Dallas or even a bit further...We've never been to TX, any suggestions of things to do or even places to eat...TIA

Don't laugh but I went and visited Southfork, right outside Dallas. I grew up watching Dallas and it was fun to go they had it all set up almost like a museum. It was a hoot driving up the long driveway too.
I also drove through dealy plaza where JFK was shot- it was so much smaller of an area than I thought it would be. I didn't go to the museum but there is one in the school book depository.
Forth Worth has a neat "old section" called the Stockyeard where Texas Walker was filmed. There are shops and restaurants and a HUGE Honky Tonk with a mechanical bull.
