Ikea Knappa light
Does anyone have the Knappa light (the smaller size)?

I'm wondering if it can be hung fairly close tot he ceiling or how short it can possibly go. Thanks!

I do not have it but was looking at something similar on Euro Style Lighting: http://www.eurostylelighting.com/eum5873.htm. It's an almost-flush ceiling lamp; so, I imagine the Knappa can be hung close to the ceiling as well.
Just purchased the Knappa light today, and a different pendant hanging kit ($15, Westinghouse brand) so that it could be hardwired instead of plug-in.
I've seen photos of it hung relatively high in a room and it looks just fine.
I think it's beautiful for a nursery! Reminds me of a cloud. (Just realized I thought that you had posted this on the Bump instead of the Nest -- whoops! My opinion stands, though!)
