If you have an animal loving preschooler
FYI - DD and I attend the Little Fledlings class for preschoolers ages 3 thru 6 at the Audobon Society center, it is a great little one hour class on all kinds of nature topics.
The next class (on the first Wednesday in March) is All About Beavers, and we'll be taking a short hike over to the Platte River to see real beavers in action (so long as they cooperate) and an active beaver dam.
If you've got a animal loving kiddo, it should be a fun time. The class is really fun and educational, cheap, and you don't have to attend every class or anything, just RSVP by email in advance.

They do have weekend family programs from time to time. I highly recommend them.
