So all these fabulous Valentine's Day ideas on Pinterest...
And my kid did not get a single heart shaped crayon, photo lollipop holder or any of the other great stuff. Guess these moms are not into Pinterest....LOL
Re: So all these fabulous Valentine's Day ideas on Pinterest...
LOL! I did the straw one! Only non candy gift that was given was a 24 piece puzzle. I was like really... a puzzle... mustve got them on clearance somewhere.
"Like" me on Facebook
I got one of those superman lollipops so I know one mom who uses it, I use it but just gave out regular old fashioned valentines.
Sorry I dont need extra junk for my kids.
we got 2 handmade cards and the rest were all fold up store ones. The other moms at his school don't strike me as pinterest type people.
we got nothing either.
I commented to my DH that i guess none of the moms are nesties or on pinterest.
We got 1 photo lollipop card. The rest were the reg cards with heart shaped lollipops. I have about 30 of them between the 2 kids.
And I agree with the PP about none of the kids writing their names. I thought for sure more kids would have done it. Only my kid and 1 other. I know RJ isn't that hard to write but still - he did 23 all by himself and he was darn proud of himself.
Even the teacher whose daughter is IN RJ's class didn't have her write her name. It's an "easy" name too - Ava.
S got a book. I know his mom didn't get the idea on pinterest because her daughter gave out books 4 years ago in the infant room. I thought it was great, btw.
M got mostly candy, but he was more excited about the stickers and tattoos. He also got a placemat which he loved.
Honestly I sort of hate what pinterest has done. I'm creative and normally make my own cards, etc but now everyone assumes you got an idea from someone else on pinterest...
