What browser do you use?

What do you like about it?  Dislike?

I switched from IE8 to Chrome because Twitter stopped functioning on IE8 and I hate IE9.  Chrome is so fast, but there are a couple things that don't work well (like adding links on the nest) so I am unsure about using it.  Plus, there is no Swagbucks toolbar available for it and that is cutting down on my wins =)

Re: What browser do you use?

  • I use firefox and have no complaints
  • I still use IE8, but I get warning messages from some sites that IE8 isn't a supported browser and that I should use Firefox of Google Chrome. I installed Google Chrome and it was going to take too long to set up all of the widgets and whatnot, so I switched back.

  • IE8 (I don't twitter, but DH does - he hasn't mentioned anything about it not working ?  However, he probably mostly does it from his iPhone, not the computer)
  • I am currently using Firefox.  DH made me stop using IE because he says there are too many security holes.  He explained it all.. something about fishing and lack of support.  Not sure, he's the software developer so I let him deal with all the computer stuff.  He told me Safari was okay to use when I am browsing less important sites (Facebook, the web boards, etc)...more speed but not as secure.  I can only log in to bank sites and such from Firefox.

  • On Windows - Firefox.

On the Mac - Chrome.  Firefox is too memory-hoggy to work well for what I need at work.

  • firefox.  there are too many work websites that have random problems with safari... they all seem to function normally with firefox.

  • I use firefox, no complaints.  Don't like IE, but I haven't tried Chrome.

  • Google Chrome.  Video capability ceased to work when I updated IE and Opera.

  • I'm another Firefox user.  I've tried loading Chrome, but my laptop doesn't seem to like it.  DH uses Chrome and really likes it.

  • Chrome 95% of the time. Firefox the rest. Pinterest freezes on me in chrome a lot, so I'll open ff when chrome is pissing me off. I was a Firefox user for a long time but it really does hog memory.
