I accidentally picked up Royal Blue mascara at CVS. Before I exchange it, I wanted to see if I should try it. I have naturally blond hair, medium brown lashes. Green to hazel eyes. Fairly light skin. Is blue a color that would flatter me? I kow I could open it up and try it, but I don't want to try and return an open package.
Or is blue mascara just a fad that should have stayed in the 80s?
Like any good super hero, I'm using my alter ego to protect my identity. Goodbye Silver poster status!
Re: Blue mascara?
"What is a week-end?"
I used to wear purple mascara (back when I was more fashionable). It made my brown eyes look awesome. (I have dk brown eyes/hair & medium skin tone)
I would try it. Were you trying to get black? If so, I think that it would still give you dark lashes but maybe make your eyes pop.
Double check but I'm pretty sure CVS takes open makeup that you're not satisfied with.

I wouldn't wear blue mascara, however, I have definitely been known to sport blue eye shadow. I don't know, blue mascara just doesn't seem right to me.
But, I do believe in the freedom of expression. When you see what Lady GaGa wears, a little blue mascara seems small in comparison. So, I say that if you are feeling it and if it goes with your style, then go for it.
