Light-sauced pasta recipe using baked ham?

Is there a lighter meal I can make using pasta and possibly, parsley, ham, peas, carrots that doesn't involve cream like alfredo sauce does?
Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.

  • Skinnytaste has several recipes you could try.  Just make some substitutions.  I have always had good luck with her recipes too.  She just posted a creamy broccoli pasta today that looks good...
  • I put ham in my spaghetti sauce. A red sauce is a good vehicle to sneak in tons of veggies too! And, lower in calories.
