Re: Teen Mom -Amber

  • She didn't think she would get caught?  Seriously, her stupidity amazes me.  You can't be on a reality television show and then think you can get away with fraud.  So dumb.

I know, how did she think she wouldn't get caught?

i know! What the heck! 280K!

this is why none of these kids are going to better themselves with school. they are getting paid to act foolish!

  • I think there is a little more to the story. I mean Kaitlyn (or however you spell her name) is in a program that pays for her housing because she can't afford it. She could barely afford a new car. She had to borrow money from her ex boyfriend and his brother to pay for school, etc. So where exactly is all her money from MTV?

Leah had to borrow money for her trailer from her parents because she had no money to pay for that and a lawyer. I think she said it was $3K. Where is all her money from MTV?

I'm very curious *how* they get paid. I'm sure they do, but if it's in the form of incentives and accounts for the kids, and isn't liquid enough to use for housing, then I have to wonder if Amber felt it didn't "count".

  • $280,000? What the heck else were they paying her besides the $60k per season? That is insane.

I always wondered about this, too. I assumed they have to pretend they don't have that MTV money or else it would defeat the purpose of showing teen parents struggling.

Yeah I wondered that too.  I wonder if just goes into some sorta of fund for their kids.
