Why is it when people do something super duper nice for me...
I feel sick about it?
My boss just did something crazy nice for me and my family, not related to work. I feel like I could throw up or cry or both.
I've had an ex-HS teacher do something very nice for me and my family in the past year.
I guess I feel like maybe I should keep my mouth shut about my troubles and then people won't keep feeling bad for me... and doing such generous things!
I truly hope that one day I will be able to pay it forward.
Re: Why is it when people do something super duper nice for me...
Do you feel like you don't deserve to be the recipient of something nice? Or is it guilt or embarrassment surrounding what prompted the person to act?
