Cat lost more than a pound after his surgery and was already on the thin side. The vet rated him Wednesday at a 3 on the body scale. This was after he gained about half a pound back. So I need to put some weight on him and keep it on him. He's being fussy about food at the moment, so I was thinking that maybe he'd go for something homemade as a supplement (he'll still get his two squares of canned a day, this is just in addition to help him get back to fluffy and healthy).
However, everything I can find online lists satin balls as too carb-heavy for cats, so I need to know if anyone has done this or has a reputable recipe. I tried googling but a lot of the results were either non-workable (with his restrictions) or didn't seem to be reputable.
Re: I feel like such a PW, but - is there such a thing as satin balls for cats?
