Reccomened Your Steam Mop Please
I'm looking for a steam mop for tile and hardwood floors. I know a bunch of you ladies have them so could you reccomened yours for me please. I'm nesting hardcore right now and can't get our floors clean enough, eventhough I clean them a couple times a week. TIA
Re: Reccomened Your Steam Mop Please
We have the Swiffer thingy, I'm not happy with it, I feel like I just can't get the bathroom tile clean enough with that, and scrubbing the floor and my hands and knees isn't working at this point lol.

I am not a freak about this stuff but I know that the Swiffer wet cloths have chemicals that are harmful to children...you may want to check the label on the wet jet...I don't know about that
I don't have a steam mop but the idea of waiting for it to get ready like kendra said is reason enough for me not I get one.
As for the wet jet- I heard it was bad for pets something with the licking of the paws and the chemicals. But may e it's been fixed?! Dunno.
you need to get a Haan Steamer. it's the best. they are pricey, but seriously the best. for about a year i never used any other cleaning product on my tile. then one day i thought i should- it actually made more of a mess to use a mop and mr clean and scrub and it didnt get it any cleaner. i dont have hardwood, (just use it on tile) but they are supposedly for that too. i know the other nicole has one and i think she has hard wood? anyway, the Haan is the only kind that gets hotter faster and is hot enough to kill certain germs and dust mites that the other brands wont. i been using it since sue was little, it makes me feel better about not using chemicals and her playing on the floor. my only complaint is the head doesnt swivel, so it can be difficult to get in tight spaces (eg, my 1/2 bath around the toilet.) the link to the one i have is below- it's an older model. there are newer/nicer ones on amazon. i'm pretty sure they sell them at kohls so you can get it with a coupon too.

HAAN!
I had my Haan for a few years (since L was born), then it broke...but it was my own fault. i used my well water and never thought about cleaning it every so often (with vinegar or baking soda) so it kinda got gross from all the hard water. So i went to Bed Bath to get another one but they dont make the one i have and the new one was over $150. ( i paid $100 for mine), so i got the Shark Prof. It sux. i can see a huge difference with my haan. the shark leaves my floors so streaky...my floors look more dirty after i clean. so i found an amazing deal for my haan and bought it again. and my floors are clean without using chemicals. i cant even remember the last time i used a mop and cleaning products.
but, i never used it on my hardwood floors.....they are sealed, but im afraid.
This!! I feel the exact same way about my HAAN... the ONLY complaint is it doesn't have a swivel head! this is the one I have and love:
