I need a brick wall

My mother is going back to school. Her first paper is due tomorrow. It's just an introduction but she's had me proof and edit it 3 times. I'm on the phone with her now going over it line by line. One of her citations was wrong so I typed it out correctly and e-mailed it to her. She's sitting on the phone with me saying, "It's not here yet! Why isn't it here yet? What's wrong with my e-mail?"

Facepalm.

hahahaha   I feel your pain!!!  My mom just started going back to school as well and I get a weekly phone call from her--- "A, Why is my computer screen going to this page?  Why isn't it working?!"   I don't know mom... I'm in Guam.

I feel your pain as well! My mother wasn't born in America and her English isn't always perfect so she asks me to proofread anything she writes. It was worse when I was still living with them, but now that we are far away, I would get occasional texts asking questions and help. Its funny but it can be frustrating!

I don't know what her course load is, but you're probably going to have to limit the number of proof-reads per paper.

Thanks ladies. She takes one course at a time and each one is like 3 weeks long. I feel like I may be doing this every week for years.

This is why I am nervous to ask my English Teacher sister for help with my papers. I know she would help if I asked, but I don't want to wear her out asking for help all the time.
