Dreading the vet visit today :(

I haven't been back since we put KittyCat to sleep so I'm totally dreading going in there today with Lily. I'm already getting teary-eyed just thinking of it. That day in that room already plays over and over in my head. Ugh.

Re: Dreading the vet visit today :(

  • I'm sorry. hugs.

We actually switched practices because my husband refused to go back after we lost our oldest dog last year.

  • ((hugs))  I know that will be hard.  Thinking of you!
  • (((HUGS)))

  • ((big hugs)) It will be okay. I can't imagine how hard it would be to go back to where we put my Riley to sleep a few years later, and you're going back just a few weeks later. Sending you lots of good strong vibes.

We actually switched practices because my husband refused to go back after we lost our oldest dog last year.

This crossed my mind but I adore my vet.

Anyway, just got back and it wasn't too bad. I did cry as soon as we went into the room, but I was able to reign my emotions in and focus on Lily.

Vet thinks it is probably behavioral so we're going to keep trying to work on that and if there's no improvement, we'll try for a urine sample (her bladder was empty today).

No pee since Weds. night so maybe I can someone solve this? I hate that I have to leave for a week and likely stress her out more! Why isn't life easy? :-P

    Glad it went okay.

We were actually using two different vets at the time:one for the older two and one for our bulldog who we took in (long story). So it just forced us switching to one.

  • Ugh, I'm so sorry.  ((hugs))
