I took the day off yesterday and stayed home and while I am at work today, it should be easy peasy because no one is here.
I did not get the Clarisonic face thing for Christmas like I thought I would (it ended up being a teapot) but DH surprised me with it for Valentine's Day. I also left the tulips he got me at work because I can only carry so much and they are looking like crap. I will take them home today and figure out how/when I'm supposed to plant them.

They're really easy to plant. Just dig up the bulb from the container and set them out to dry out completely. My father used to put the bulbs in the freezer until it was time to plant them. Make sure you plant them in the fall and rather deep too.
I'm here. I shouldn't be though... I should be at a company-wide town hall meeting that was scheduled from 8.45-10. Guess who showed up at 9.05? I didn't want to walk in late, so I'm just at my desk. Gotta get some work done to justify missing it!
Also, I'm seeing The Vow tonight with some ladies from my neighborhood. I'm really excited, although I am a little afraid of being extra weepy from missing J.
I would like to be in my bed right now.
I really wanted to call into work today and send the boys to school. Mommy is needing some time to her self and I am nearing a breaking point. I think I might send them to my moms this weekend and go watch the vow and bawl my eyes out.
I am currently wearing a Juicy sweatsuit, Sketchers, very little makeup and my hair in a ponytail. And I dressed up today. You will love it.
I couldn't be any happier that is a 3-day weekend if I tried. This week has been nuts. I am going to the gym, getting my nails done, out to dinner Saturday night, out to breakfast Monday morning, and the rest of the time I plan to rest, read, and watch sports. Maybe cook a new recipe on Monday. My kind of weekend for sure!

I would weep with joy. I seriously think I look better when I wear jeans and a cute top. Khakis wrinkle so easily and I feel sloppy by 9 AM.

I hope your mom will help you out. I'm a big believer of needing adult time when you're a parent. I don't have kids but I have friends who talk about getting burned out. Hugs to you!

I'd appreciate some T&Ps/juju/whatever... my brother is picking up my niece today to move her to Dallas. She skipped school, with her mother, so now he's having to track her down. We need this to go smoothly.

Off the subject, is anyone else having a problem with Facebook? Mine is soooo wonky lately, especially on my phone. I am constantly trying to go to pages that won't load, the sorting is all weird--I won't see anything hardly from the current day but I will see stuff from 3 days ago, even though I have it set to sort Most Recent first. Very strange--kind of like TK!

Yes. I stopped looking at my phone because the picture that I posted from "Up" is still the second thing that comes up. TK is wonky, but I can't get TN to load half the time either. It's getting tiresome.
We bought tickets for "Mary Poppins" and "La Traviatta" last night. I'm excited to see LT because the guy who was the main character in "La Boheme" a couple of years ago is the lead in LT this year. He's extremely handsome and he sings so well. We're going to go see "Jersey Boys" twice--I told Bill that I would buy one set if he would buy the other.
Ah, I think technically the other set of grandparents has legal custody... but the grandpa is signing something or other over to my brother so he can get her enrolled in school. I'm a little foggy on the details too. The mom knows about the plans, and "says" she's on board, but then I think she's doing things to undermine the plan, like telling my niece that she wishes she didn't have to do this, blah blah. Well, I'm sorry, but if you'd stepped up in the first place, and not let your child get into half the stuff you've allowed her to do, we wouldn't be in this situation, now would we?!

I'm not an Obama person but I hate the political emails. Especially when you consider A) the source and
that nearly anything that is said can be twisted to suit the needs/desires of the person sending it.
