I have a birthday party ??

Yes, I'm aware that W's bday is 6 months away (um, how did I get a 3.5 year old???). But, I'm a planner. I like to have my ducks in a row.

I want to invite his class this year. It's about 20 kids. It might be less during the summer. His party will be in our yard in August on a Saturday or Sunday.

Does anyone have rec's to rent one of those inflatable water bounce things??  Do you know roughly what they cost??? OR I was thinking of going with a Scooby Doo theme and getting the fun bus to come (ie; the mystery machine). Is it air conditioned??? Will that be too small for 20 kids???

We have tents already (when your kid is born in August, you invest in tents, lol) & I'd just order Pizza and make cupcakes.

you can buy one for about what it costs to rent one. Or less if you go to Sportcrafts warehouse sale. Last year it was memorial day weekend. It's in Flanders on the business end of ITC.  They had huge ones for 75 and 100$. We have one of them and it's really good.

fun bus is airconditioned. however, only 15 kids at a time. if you have more, you have to do 2 sessions.

This is great info!!  Too bad Memorial Day weekend is 2 weeks after Marcus's birthday! 

ETA: So I just looked into this.  Apparently Sportcraft filed for bankruptcy at the end of last year.  They're website is down...looks like this isn't an option anymore.

OMG where the F where you with that scooby idea a few months ago. OMG belle wou ld have LOVED that.

and im doing the FUN bus. damn it. too bad i've already ordered pirate hats and tinkerbelle wings or i'd be changing the theme.

We pd $200 for our bounce house and use it all summer long, may be better off doing that then renting one.

We have the Little Tiked Jump & Slide bounce

I bought an inflatable water thing last summer- it was a huge hit and we will have it for a few years- when I rented one it was the same cost for buying one- 

I don't know what we are doing for Kieran's party this summer-

that's weird, because i know someone who works for them and was promoted like 2 months ago. i will find out what's up.
