Y'all recommended the Zig 2 way glue to make my Cricut mats sticky again. I finally got around to trying it out last week and it's awesome!! I feel as if I've saved so much money with reusing the mats. Thank you!

Re: Thank you ladies
Anything that keeps $ out of Provocraft's pockets is awesome with me!
ETA: Their new mats are supposed to be gawdawful anyway- so, reuse reuse reuse- and then switch to another brand. I like the E-Clips mats a lot- and they were very inexpensive.
I had no idea I could buy different mats!! Awesome! Thank you!!

I had no idea either! Do they may 6X12 size?
I was lamenting to my husband the other night that I wish I had a 12X12 machine.... eventually!
Edited: Posted too soon! I don't want to go out and buy a Cricut 12X12 now... maybe I'll save up for the Silhouette, but I want to make sure that I can use it well before selling the Cricut. Does the SCAL 2 work with a silhouette (or do you just not need SCAL 2??)

These ladies told me about it here.
Zig glue is a type of glue you can find at craft stores. Clean off your Cricut mat with a baby wipe (or soap and water) and remove any remaining pieces of paper. Dry off. Apply the Zip glue on top of the mat and let it dry (if you adhere it to something while wet, it's permanent. Let it dry and it is repositionable!)
I've reused a bunch of mats already!
