I'm so happy it's Friday! What's everyone up to?
Re: Hello Friday!
I am taking most of today off and MH and I are spending some quality time together this afternoon. My sister had another rough week due to BIL's mental health issues and we're both wiped out. MH had class or networking events every night this week so he hasn't been around for moral support. He's taking the afternoon off too. On the plus side, our kitchen countertops were installed this week. We'll be spending the afternoon baking! Tonight we'll relax at home.
IL's arrive tomorrow for a weekend visit. We're going to see Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Shakespeare Theater Company tomorrow night. IL's also want to go to the dollhouse museum.
Monday - I have the day off and think MH has a light schedule. We'll see what we feel like doing.
So thankful for Friday!
Today - headed over to DH's grandmothers to visit with DD's little cousin. They are only a few months apart, but rarely get to see each other. I'm hoping some cute toddler antics distract me from the fact that my aunt's funeral is today in NC and I can't be there. Tonight, hoping to have a nice meal and then hit the gym while DH keeps the house under control.
Tomorrow- going to finally pick out our MB set and go pay for it. Then we're headed to my DH's co-workers son's 2nd b-day party at the Bounce House in Saco. Hopefully, that will be fun.
Sunday - I think, unless DH has other plans, it's the BIG day. No more diapers! I'm already getting sad as I folded the diapers for the last time yesterday. Next time I wash them they'll get stored away probably
This has been the longest freaking week!!
Tonight: Spending time with the guys, Seth was in Atlanta all week.
Tomorrow: Grocery shopping, house cleaning, baking a banana oat snack cake for Abe, and making sweet potato tofu burgers with baked onion rings for supper.
Sunday: Play date in Topsham.
Monday: Visit the old folks in West Gardiner!!
JGreg- glad you are taking today off!
I have no idea what is in store for this weekend. I am hosting a playgroup tomorrow... and that's about it.
I have to work Monday.
Yay for Friday!
Today: My vacation starts at 2:30 and I couldn't be more ready! Going for a walk with the family when I get home, then maybe going grocery shopping.
Tomorrow: My BFF and her boyfriend are coming to stay for a few days. She's organizing a "sprinkle" for me for Sunday and wants me out of the house for a while, so a friend and I are going to lunch and maybe to check out the Goodwill Outlet in Gorham. In the afternoon we might go to the indoor go-kart place in Scarborough. They have little power wheels track that kids can use if there isn't a birthday party going on.
Sunday: My "sprinkle" in the afternoon. Looking forward to tasty treats and seeing some friends and family.
No big plans for vacation- date day/evening with DH midweek, a "me" day on Friday and lots of projects/crafts/cooking in between.
Happy Friday!! We have a very busy weekend ahead, and I am so excited!
Tonight - Gym and then home to wrap B-Day presents for Savannah!
Tomorrow - Gym then heading to MILs (where party is being held) to decorate and bring stuff down so we don't have a ton of junk to bring on Sunday.
Sunday!!!! Savannah's 1 year B-Day party!!! We are having a cupcake theme party, so we are doing a giant cupcake "smash" cake for the baby & regular cupcakes for everyone else.
I am excited but sad at the same time. I love that she is growing up and changing...but I miss my squishy little baby. I am pretty sure come Monday (her actual bday) I am going to be a crying mess
Hooray Friday! Now if it could just be 5:00. This week has been rough.
I'm not 100% sure what we're doing tonight. We started playing a game where we each have to submit one "dirty idea" per week and mine was to go to Nomia together, so we're supposed to do that, lol.
Tomorrow and Sunday I really don't have plans, I'll do yoga, grocery shop, and so forth ... probably play with the boys a lot!!
Tonight: I have to work - we have a special event this weekend at work and it starts tonight with a wine and cheese reception. I've been a roll trying to fake my wine-drinking lately and these two days coming up with be tough. The group is small (8-10 people), so it's hard to hide not partaking in the wine. My boss isn't the most tactful person, so I'm waiting for him to just call me out.
Tomorrow: Working early and probably coming home for a few hours before heading back to work for the evening event. Fingers crossed that it doesn't go too late - we've been getting better with keeping these things more on track timing-wise.
Sunday: Working all day and we're full because of the holiday weekend, so my next day off isn't until Wednesday! It's going to be a loooong bunch of days.
Hope everyone else enjoys their three-day weekend, if they get one - I'm jealous!
I feel you there! It was my last week working full time and last week before February break - it has felt like Friday since Monday and I am beat!
Tonight: The in-laws arrived, we got take out for dinner and are just hanging out now. I'm hoping to call it an early night because I am EXHAUSTED!
Tomorrow: Driving to Bangor in the morning to meet up with my mom. We are going to pick out decorations for my baby shower, I'm also hoping to pick up a dress to wear. I'll be picking up some fabric for some projects to keep me busy over break and we will be getting a crib so I can set that up next week!
Sunday: No plans yet, I'm hoping to convince DH, MIL, and FIL to take a day trip somewhere to get them out of my house.
My work phone has been broken for two days and just got fixed this afternoon. I spent yesterday just trying to keep myself entertained and today I went into the office to do some work. Went to Target after work to some shopping for DH's cousin's wife's baby shower. Hanging out with DH and DD now.
Tomorrow, my mom is coming down fairly early to see LO (she hasn't seen her in a few weeks, and won't see her again til after we get back from vacation) then we are meeting up with some friends of mine from work at Red Robin (YUMMMM!!) for lunch. We might get groceries after, but it's more likely we'll come home, put LO down for a nap and fold laundry.
Sunday, groceries maybe, then I'm meeing DH's Aunts and going to the cousin's wife's baby shower. DD free so it should be nice. Can't wait to get through next week! just under 2 weeks til vacation!
Wow, I haven't participated in one of these in forever!
Today: waiting to wake up MH at 8:30pm so that we can get in the car and drive to Philly. I've been doing laundry and packing all day. It wasn't fun.
Tomorrow: hanging out in Philly, checking another cheesesteak place off the list, doing a little shopping, whatever. No agenda.
Sunday: Eloise's birthday!!!!!!!! Holy cow, how did a year go by so fast? We're doing a small "party", immediate family only (my folks, MH's dad, MH's sister, and MH's stepmom, my [pregnant! yay!] sister and her husband). We're headed to the best pizza place on the planet where I had my confirmation party, my 30th birthday, my niece's 1st birthday, etc. for dinner, then back to my folks' place for cake and cupcakes, etc. Low key but should be fun.
Monday: My birthday!!!!! I'm almost equally excited about this one. Since my birthday last year was spend checking out of the hospital and dealing with Frankencrotch, I'm hoping to have a really good day this year. The only concrete plan is that MH and I are going out to dinner, but I think I'm going to check a few Oscar movies off my list.
