Ah, ok! Um...let's see...
I don't like weddings. I'm not really looking forward to the one tonight even though I really love the couple. I didn't even like my own all that much, but my mom did, and that's what was important. Also, in retrospect, I wouldn't have traded my dad walking me down the aisle for anything.

GLW, I think well-behaved little kids dressed up in tutu's have to be considered cute. I emphasis well behaved though.
I am SO sick of interviewing, being told I am one of 2 candidates, getting my hopes up and coming in second place to a man. It makes want to ride out the storm with this company even though we have been treated less than fair here. Although, it will be a whole new company if they even keep me on.

This last interview, I wasn't pumped up afterwards like I usually am. H asked me how it went and why I wasn't so much more excited. I told him exactly what you posted. It's hard to get all pumped up when you know you are going to get let down.

I am seriously considering going to the bookstore this weekend and getting a self-help book on being more assertive in the workplace.
I've even looked around online for seminars/etc...
I can relate. Old friends have mentioned that I was happier a few years ago.
In reality, times have changed. I have much more responsibility and it's stressful. It's not that I'm unhappy, I just can't do all the things that I used to be able to do.
When I saw the Fat Tuesday post, I thought, Fat Tuesday si the story of my life.
That's basically it. I was happier 7 years ago, went out more, had more friends near by.
Was just so much more laid back and relaxed

That's really interesting, honestly I did not know that at all.
I don't really have a fun confession. I did eat a bag of Ragin' Buffalo and Ranch Doritos, which were delightful, but now I don't feel so good on my stomach
I haven't ran at all this year, with the exception of a few days ago that I walked for a couple minutes than ran for 30 - 60 seconds (only like, 3 intervals of this). And I have a goal of 500 miles in 2012. I prefer running outside, but I really need to sop making excuses.
I pretend I like a certain family member only because I see this part of my family often and really don't feel like it's worth the drama.
Angelicteardrops, I saw your post and I'm sorry you got such bad news.
I hope everything is under control and you start feeling better soon.
