Anyone else read As Always Julia? If not, I highly recommend it!

I recently came upon it at the library among the cookbooks. I'm only a little ways in but it is a fantastic read. Its funny to see how there were foodies way back when and also to see discussion reminiscent of the things we debate on here. One of my favorite parts so far was Julia's discussion of canned soup, frozen foods and vegetables, the utility of various kitchen gadgets and things that freeze well.  All past WC topics! Julia notes canned soups are very useful but she was trying to work a way to get the taste of the can out!  I thought it was funny that she liked them at all. It is also the book where the quote "people who like food are the best people" comes from. I've seen that a lot on pinterest lately. Overall, its a great read and a fascinating story of how the friendship developed between Julia Child and Avis Devoto.
