Re: White nursery???

  • ok back when i used to watch cribs i feel i used to see a lot of white with celebrities. its clean, modern, and sleek.

personally I'D never choose white bedding for a newborn.  (ok i wouldn't chose white anywhere because im clutzy and messy) but if i had his money and a nanny and a full time house keeper sure why the heck not

  • I don't think it's that weird.  I'd had visions of a white and navy nursery.  I thought it looked really clean and crisp.  I really don't know why I went away from it and still think it would be beautiful!

  • I like that crib better then baby Blue's weird plexiglass one. I couldnt have white because I would spill stuff on it as quick as I put it on, but if I had someone else doing my laundry then I wouldnt care so much
  • I think that is a gorgeous nursery and it's totally my style. Before we decided to not get bumpers and skip the bedding set route, we were planning to get a white set.

  • Whte would have survived matthew. It would not survive Shawn.
  • Ehh when Abby spit up as much as she did as a newborn, I couldn't imagine having everything white.  Then again, if I had the money I guess I could just have everything cleaned every time a baby threw up/spit up and stained stuff.

  • I don't see a big deal in the white.  It's not like they do their actual laundry I'm sure......

i had the SAME thought on the crib EXACT same though.. i still think blue's crib looks just like what i keep my binder clips in

  • I didn't look at the pics, but it sounds beautiful. My girls rooms are very light in color and nothing has ever been stained because we don't bring food or drinks in our bedrooms. Genevieve spit up entire bottles when she was younger, but again I never fed her in her room.

I guess people are lucky.  Abby spit up all the damn time.  I was constantly changing sheets and wiping down her crib.  She also had the stomach bug really bad once and threw-up all over everything.

  • I'm with Amy...Why not?  It doesn't matter if the sheets are light blue, pale pink or white, if the baby pukes or poops I still have to wash the sheets.

  • I'm sure they have help to clean sheets, etc. :)
