I'm done with the doctor

We talked about everything. He thinks the forgetfulness is from moving and so much happening so quick. He gave me a bunch of referrals to different doctors and I had some blood work done.

The big news is that it looks like we have a diagnosis behind the pain and stuff. The doctor thinks I have rheumatoid arthritis. I will be seeing an RA doctor soon.

Part of me is glad to know what the pain is and that there is treatment. The other part would like to cry because I'm too young for RA. It could be worse.

The doctor also said that he was surprised that I had such a pleasant disposition even though I had all these medical issues. Guess that means I should start being a jerk Wink

Good for you! Being angry or stressed only makes matters worse! (Trust me, I know!)

I went Indifferent when I read RA! You seem too young! At least you were diagnosed early. I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but I hope treatment helps!

  • Oh, Otter. I am glad you are keeping such a positive attitude - I don't know if I could manage. I have Raynaud's, and I had to be tested for RA and Lupus, but fortunately don't have either yet. Keep us posted!
