WW girls - motivate me!

I just started (again) this morning with the online plan and bought 3 months.  I didn't have success last year on this new plan.  Motivate me...how are you doing? how have you adjusted to the new plan?  Thanks!

Re: WW girls - motivate me!

  • once you get into it, its really not that bad...i have found that when i focus on my healthy guidelines, i am much more successful than if i just count points...
  • I have been on it for about 5 weeks and I'm doing pretty well so far - definitely better than just on my own.  It takes a bit to get into a groove, but once you do, I find it to work well for me.

  • I just rejoined on Tuesday (online as well). Honestly for me I find I need to just DO IT and not think too much. I also eat all the flex points usually and always have lost well. (I lost 20 pounds on WW in college, kept it off a few years, got married, gained a small army lol, lost 30, then got preg). I like the fruits/veggies are 0 points now too.
  • You just have to take the leap.  I like it!  I lost 9.5 so far

  • I've lost 42 pounds since last June. I weight 6 pounds less than my wedding weight, which I thought was an awesome weight. I am wearing size 4 skinny jeans (that get baggy with one wearing) and was wearing a 12-14 before I started and the 12s were snug! I even fit into a size 2 skinny but felt I was too old for that fit. LOL

I am now just maintaining and getting used to the new me. I follow it by points but am very careful to use healthy guidelines. I allowed it to take its time and didn't stress about it but I had most of the weight off in 4-5 months.

Eat lots of protein, fruits, and vegetables. I eat a gigantic bowl of air-popped popcorn every single day to curb my need to munch. I gradually decreased my carbs from 1 cup with dinner, to 3/4 cup with dinner, to 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup to none. I mostly eat large protein serving with tons of veggies cooked in a little olive oil.

Good luck, take it one day and a time, and allow the scale to fluctuate as long as you are doing the right things.
