catskills, poconos rentals for summer

any have any recs for a summer rental in the poconos, catskills, etc. We are thinking about it and looking to get some info. We like the idea of a lake instead of the ocean.

Maybe try homeaway.com. My family has used the site to find a large home rental for 15+ people for a family reunion in the catskills. They have houses all over the country (and some international) at various prices. If you're looking for a house or condo it is something to look into.

My mom has a house in the poconos that she rents - it's on camelback mountain (so in the summer it's right on the water park, camelbeach).  It's also by the outlets in tannersville.  If you're interested, I could see how much she rents for....it's a bedroom upstairs, a bedroom on the main level (with a living area in that bedroom that is easily another bedroom) and finished basement bedroom.

We use homeaway for poconos.  Lakes are great for little kids (and big).

thanks for all your ideas. can you tell me the areas that you usually go to? I heard about lake ariel...any thoughts on that? any other areas?

Last year we did Lake Naomi and loved it so are doing it again.  It has great facilities.  Pools, boats, golf, restaurant and activities for the kids.
