O. M. G. I loved this. I wish there had been a little more crossover, actually, since they really limited it to Charlotte/Cooper/ Amelia/Erica/Mason interacting with Derek/Lexie, but I still thought it was well done.
First, Grey's...
I enjoyed Callie in this episode! I like her when she is all kickass and tough-surgeon-bone-cracker. And I loved seeing Meredith do well with the case, even though the thought of that guy's hand getting a toe attached to it in place of a thumb was kind of grody.
Oh, Christina and Owen. I like them so much together, but I am so sick of their issues! I want them to have some kind of breakthrough so they can be happy again, but I am not seeing that happen.
Alex's storyline was fine...it kind of makes me mad that Grey's always goes for the lowest possible gestational age when they have micropreemies. The fact that Sophia was a 23-weeker made me angry because it is a rare 23-weekeer who does as well as she did, and this one being a 24-weeker is not much better. They could have made Morgan be 26 weeks pregnant and gone with the same exact storyline, and it would not have been completely unbelievable to this NICU nurse.
I also enjoyed Avery standing up to Bailey. I love her, but she was really overstepping. I basically enjoyed that entire storyline, from her spending time with the patient to her giving in to everything working out the way it did.
PP:
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH ADDISON AND JAKE! I am totally shipping them in a major way.
I don't care about Sam and his sister at all.
I am ready for Pete and Violet just to get back together already because they are boring apart, so they might as well just get back together and continue to be boring.
The whole thing with the heart transplant patient and the baby was sad. However, having a baby at 30 weeks in order to save someone rejecting a transplanted heart should have been a no-brainer. So I was not a fan of Jake's in this instance.
CROSSOVER:
I freaking love Charlotte more and more every week. I think I have a girl crush on KaDee Strickland. When I think back to the Charlotte that was attacked and how she was prior to that point and compare her to the Charlotte of today, I just really have to respect what the character has been through. She was SO GREAT with Erica and with Mason, and I just loved every minute that she was in both episodes.
I was happy to see Amelia and Derek together and communicating and working together. And since I am a big medicine junkie, I loved all the stuff about the surgery case. I also loved how the previews made it seem like something was going to go wrong, but instead they were able to perform a miracle and Erica lived! I was not sure which way I wanted that one to go because having her die would have given a lot of material to Cooper's and Charlotte's storylines, but I realized I was pulling for her in the end.
Okay, I think that is it for me. Thoughts from anyone else?

Re: Grey's/PP Crossover - 2/16
I love Owen and I love Christina... I don't like them together, though. They want different things in life and marriages like are usually not successful. I hope that if they get back together, they do it soon. I don't want them to drag their fighting out.
Did anyone notice how McSteamy shaved his facial hair? I was not a fan.
The transplant patient made me angry. She never should have lied to Jake and she definitely should have delivered the baby at 30 weeks.
I wish the whole 2 hours had been a true crossover instead of a few guest appearances.
I completely agree. While I thought both episodes were great, the way they were previewing it and talking it up, I thought it would be more of a 2-hr episode, not just 2 separate one hours with a few people from the other show in each episode.
Ditto. I hate Addison so any episode that brings her into the fold annoys me.
This. I'm not a huge fan of PP like I am Grey's. And I tried really hard to like PP.
To each his own, I guess. I thought the Grey's episode was super boring. We almost shut it off half way through.
I did like the story line for the cross over, but I don't think it needed to cross over, it could have just been another story line on Greys.
I was waiting for this, too!! Amelia seemed to have a bigger role the in Greys episode than Derek had in the PP episode, which I guess is the problem with cross overs that really aren't.
I actually kind of liked the Grey's episode. I also love it when Callie is all tough. I thought it was hilarious when the Chief snuck into the OR to play puppet master and then disappeared into the shadows. Sneaky little bits of humor in an otherwise serious show. I'm not sure if I want Christina and Owen to make it. She totally worked with him when he had PTSD and choked her in his sleep and she does not throw it back in his face. I just don't think he will be able to get over the abortion.
Charlotte was great with Mason. Violet and Pete are SO boring.
I've got more issues than a magazine
I thought this, too. Strange.
I kept LOLing at the commercials saying "A two hour event!". Um, if you watch both shows then it's a two hour even every week. Thanks, though.
I just can't stand Pete and Violet. And I can't stand Violet's crazy eyes. And that she looks like she gets dressed and does her hair in the dark.
