I often find myself with really specific questions about topics I'm teaching. I know there are a lot of teachers on this board and there are things I could probably get a lot of feedback about here, but does anyone frequent an education message board they like?

TES. Its British so they talk about standards and such that do not apply to US schools,  but its the best I've found. I love it. But, I also taught over there so I'm used to the lingo.

I'm looking for a place where I can ask specific questions about books we're reading and assignment ideas, so hopefully the lingo won't be a barrier! Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

Here is one lingo tip if you are trying to figure out grade levels. Ks5 is key stage 5. That is 11th and 12th grade, but it's a slightly different set up as they only focus on three or four subjects at that point. So think of it like AP. kS4 is key stage 4. That refers to 9th and 10th grade. Ks3 is key stage 3. That refers to 6th through 8th grade. You get the idea
