Cloth Diaper Ladies?

Anyone here CD? What kind do you use? Where did you purchase? I was told never buy full price but can't seem to find the one's I want on sale anywhere!

We have a full supply of bumgenius 4.0 I bought many "full price" since we plan on having kids it didn't feel like such a mistake. They will be reused atleast once more.

I have a bunch of pockets. (Bumgemius 4.0s and Fuzzibunz) but my favorites are the WAHM (work at home mom) ones. I have yet to venture into wool covers, but I do use Thirsties Duos Wraps, Flips and GroVia ones. I bought my pockets online but I know BuyBuyBaby (Cherry Hill) sells them. Abbey's Lane is a great site bc they have free shipping and great sales. The WAHMS I buy are off of HyenaCart (Twinkie Tush, Tangerine Baby, BeeBunz, KLBs, etc. We have about 50 WAHMs from 6-7 shops I'd say.)

 

Besides Abbey's Lane, you can try Kelly's Closet, Mom's Milk Boutique, etc. (Those are the first three sites that come to mind first.)

We CD.  I have a little bit of everything as I'm trying to find out what works best for us and baby.  I LOVE the Green Mountain workhorse fitteds without snaps.  We also really like the prefolds from GM.  I have a few Kawaii pockets that work well too.  And I like my Thirsties and Bummis Super Brite covers.

As Jack is just getting to the weight/size to fit into AIOs and other pockets we have, we'll be trying out BG 4.0 pockets (got as seconds from cottonbabies.com), BG Elemental (AIO), Fuzzibunz pockets, Grovia AIOs and Blissful Booty AIOs (seconds).

I purchased my newborn prefolds and a couple workhorse diapers from Green Mountain Diapers brand new from their website but now I've just been buying used from diaperswappers.com, babycenter.com's Cloth Diaper Swap board and Spot's Corner.

We started with a bunch of prefolds from GMD with Thirsties covers when DD was little. We also had a diaper service before we started washing our own. Since we went all in we have a mix of Fuzzi Bunz pockets, some GoodMamas and various BumGenius. Right now we are mostly using the AIO BG's which I love because we just got tired of stuffing and the ease of getting them on a 2 yr old is a plus.

We got most of our FB's on sale (can't remember where- Jillians Drawers/Kelly's Closet?) and BG's as "seconds" through Cottonbabies. Haven't had any problems with the quality.

We were given 36 prefolds before Brooks was born, so I just had to buy covers, and like the pp I used a lot of WAHM ones. I also had some thirties and bummis. When he grew out of his covers we switched to bum genius, and flips. We bought some as seconds, some off craigslist and some new. For night time we initially used hemp, but have switched to bamboo diapers with a wool cover, since switching we haven't had a leak (I think we're on month 6 since the switch). I get most of my stuff from a local store, diaperwearer, she's in Media or from soft and cozy baby in Baltimore.

One more thing, if I hadn't been given a bunch of diapers I would have done a trial. What fits one kid isn't going to fit another. I lent my prefolds and covers to Lachute and they didn't fit her little dude well and the BGs fit him almost right away. Where the prefolds fit my little dude in the hospital and the BGs didn't work till month 4.
