Favorite London Broil recipe?

Lost the recipe I used to use - Catalina dressing, Italian seasoning and other stuff. Haven't made it in a few years

Any favorite ways to prepare it? Probably serving with the cheesey Mac and cheese quinoa recipe posted in a recent blog update that I pinned and steamed veggie

Re: Favorite London Broil recipe?

  • We usually do this marinade and then grill it.

1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon ketchup 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • here's my fave, best if overnight

    4 large garlic cloves, minced

    4 tbsp balsamic vinegar

    4 tbsp lemon juice

    3 tbsp dijon mustard

    1 1/2 tbsp worcestershire

    1 tbsp soy sauce

    1 tsp oregan

    1 tsp basil

    1 tsp thyme

    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

    2/3 cup olive oil

  • Dale's steak seasoning (in the marinade section at the grocery store)--marinade the london broil for 30 minutes to an hour and throw it on the grill. Simple and absolutely PHENOMENAL. Pull it off the grill after cooked to desired done-ness and let it rest for a few minutes before cutting. The juices are great soaked up in dinner rolls :)

The marinade is similar to a worchestire sauce.

  • Honestly, I just rub it with garlic and canola oil and then broil.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper and slice.
