Where should we take her? Anybody doing the $52.80 dinners? Any specific restaurants we should try using that?
Other then the 5280 what are some places we should swing by and try out? Doesn't have to be food related.. cool shops, Colorado specific things..?
TIA!
Re: Mom's coming to town..
Yeah I think we will definitely go to the 16th street mall. I think you can buy the dinners for 52.80 now, but you can't redeem until feb 25th - march something. I found it on opentable.com
I've been dying to try elways and oceannaire (sp). DH and I have epic local mtn passes. Hoping to take my mom to keystone to go tubing while DH snowboards. We'll see. Thanks for the suggestions, forgot about the 16th st mall.
I always take out of town company to Vesta Dipping Grill and Larimer Square. In the summer/fall, I take them to Estes/Rocky Mtn Park then come back through Boulder and do Pearl Street Mall and eat at Pasta Jay's for dinner. I'm not sure about Estes this time of year, however.
Maybe Coors and Celestial Seasonings and/or the Molly Brown House?
Wonderful Ideas! We just got married up in Estes in January and I can say I'm 95% sure we wont be going back in the winter.. haha. It was super windy! Not to forget cold as well. lol
You might want to call the places you would like to go for $52.80 and see if you can even get reservations. We made 2 different reservations a few weeks ago and our reservations are at 9:15 (on a week night) and 10:00. With it only being a week away you might have a hard time.
If it's warm enough, go to Red Rocks. Even in the snow (or especially so) it's beautiful. We had our engagement photos there and I was bummed when it snowed but it made for stunning photos.
You can eat in Morrison at The Fort for a nice meal, or the Morrison Inn for something more low-key.

Yep, just wanted to see if there were other people out there with ideas.
OH OK! Wow! lol. Didn't expect that, but guess I should have. We might stay more low key then.. haha
You can search on Open Table for open reservations on the days you are looking for - there just might not be a ton left. The most popular restaurants are pretty much full, but there's still some decent options available.
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
BEST SUGGESTION YET! haha. Thank you! : )
