Kojel... Help!!!

Ok so I hear there is something called Kojel which is basically kosher gelatin or gelatin subsititute. Does any one use this or know what exactly it is??

Re: Kojel... Help!!!

  • I've used it several times. It's a vegetarian and kosher gelatin that you use just like Jello (the box will tell you the exact proportions). I believe it's made from vegetable gums. It comes in several flavors and they also have a line of instant pudding mix.

It doesn't firm up quite as well as regular jello, but it usually works well enough.

  • Cool.. I may have to give it a try. Where is it sold at, in what stores can I find Kojel?
