I feel like every day he is improving. Sometimes it feels like we hit a wall and then suddenly he "gets it". I don't want to jinx myself but it seems like he "gets" the whole housebreaking thing. He couldn't be left uncrated all day, but he isn't peeing inside when we supervise him which is awesome! It was so hard when he was accidents multiple times per day.
Today I took him to the dog park and he actually played with the dogs there. Not a lot, but it is a start! He loves to play at home but he just doesn't feel comfortable enough with strange dogs around. After he played chase all the people there were cracking up because he was walking around like he owned the place- tail up, head up, and confident.
He is also doing much better with strangers and men. He is leery of quick movements from strangers and he prefers them to pet his butt rather than his head, but he goes up to people and even stays so they can pet him. My little guy is getting so brave!
Re: So proud of my little foster dog
5 cats. 1 baby.
Yay!! Glad to hear he's doing so well!
And he is too cute for words.
Snow!
