Puppy v. cat problem solving
Hey everyone,
We have had our pup for one week now (her name is Winnie) and everything is going pretty well. She is doing great with the crate and for the most part housetraining is going well too. She is good and sweet and we love her. However we have an unusual cat problem. Marshmallow the cat is extremely food motivated and since we are treating Winnie often for peeing/pooping etc. Marshmallow has decided to follow Winnie's every move. This leads Winnie to get excited and bark at her and sometimes pounce. But also this is causing the majority of her accidents I think when she's excited whatever is in her bladder just lets go. Does anyone have any thoughts? Of course we can keep them separated but that would be an unfortunate permanent solution.
Thanks!

Re: Puppy v. cat problem solving
Dear DawnMarie,
Thanks so much for the advice! We have done clicker work with her and it's a good idea to do some more. She's just so brazen around the dog! She stole her pig's ear right from her last night! So far today has gone better, with no cat-induced peeing. Knock on wood.
Thanks again,
Kristina
