Interesting about Bobby Brown at Whitney's funeral

http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20569493_20571941,00.html

Kinda sad.

I sorta don't blame the family for their harsh feelings toward Bobby.

I wondering why he needed to come with an entourage of people. Why couldn't he just show up by himself?

  • According to the story he came with his other kids right? I also see that he's also engaged now. So I wouldn't call it an entourage. If these are his biological kids then they're BK's half siblings. I don't see that as weird. Maybe I have the facts wrong.

I read he was allowed 3 guests, he brought 9.

  • Yeah, from what I understand he knew he only had 2 seats, but brought a lot of extra people.  Almost like he was trying to make himself more important in the whole event (for lack of a better word).  I'm just glad he didn't make a scene and left fairly quietly.  That would've been awful

Yeah glad he didn't make a spectacle.

  • i read somewhere he brought his other kids... who were close with whitney, as they were her stepkids.... which makes sense for them to go and pay respects.

I think it's just pathetic the family "gave him" a couple seats instead of asking who in his family was coming, and giving him those seats.  He's the father of her child. He should have been sitting next to her.

    IMO, they are all crazy.

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

I agree.  From what I've read Bobbi Kristina also has had her her battle with drugs and alcohol.  I wonder if they are just trying to protect as much as possible.  The less she has to do with him, prob the better.

This. It's a shame. Even if they hate him, a funeral isn't the place to show your dislike.

Brian & I have met Whitney's mother a few times. She didn't care for us because were weren't star struck and didn't talk to her about whitney. Seriously? I though we were being polite every time by just saying hello, nice to see you, etc.

  • I think it's werid that Bobby still performed at a concert the same night as the funeral! I also think its weird that her aunt Aretha Franklin could not go due to needing to elevate her legs, IN ORDER To perform her own show that same night. Really? You would rather perform than cancel and go to the funeral? that seems superficial to me. Seems like Whitney had no one completely real in her life when she was never good enough.....sad that even after her death they couldnt get their sh8t together enough for the sake of no drama for Bobbi-Christina!

I agree with Gail. They're all crazy

Yes that totally didn't make sense.  I get that Aretha had leg cramps.  Fine go to the funeral pay your respects.  Don't sing.  I can't believe she sang that night.  I guess she needed to get paid and Whitney's family wasn't going to pay her.  Sad.
