Recommend your vaccum, not a dyson.
I have heard mix things about the dyson and therefore have decided that I don't want to get it. At least not at the prices it is going for. I need one that is good on floors and carpets as well as for dog hair.

Shark. We have the swivel navigator from Kohls. We have a HEAVY shedding dog and it's great with it. Also love their motor brush attachment for the stairs, it works better than the dysons did.
