Roommate needs to move out now!

 

I sent her the following text message, as she wasn't home:

 

 "FYI-I'm washing all of the potholders"

 

Those are the exact words.  Nothing more, nothing less.  I told her because she bakes a lot and didn't want her to freak out when they were gone.

 

She approached me this morning saying she didn't appreciate the passive aggressive tone of the note.  According to her, I am no longer supposed to text her. These things can only be communicated in person.  Which would of course be ideal, but thanks to her being crazy pants, I try to avoid being home when she is.  Ugh.  41 more days!!!!

We didn't resolve it.  I got a page to respond to a car accident as she was berating me regarding the text.  If I do something similar while she's still here, I'm just not going to tell her until I see her, no matter how long that is.

For the record, they are MY potholders.  She doesn't have any.

She sounds like an old roommate of mine that would leave me post it notes about things I needed to do. Sure, I wasn't perfect but it would have taken her less time to just rinse the sink or whatever she was complaining about than it did to write me the note. She'd even put them on the floor if my dog made a mess or something. It's was ridic. She was the queen of passive aggressive.
