Hi Girls-
My husband and I are relocating to Illinois...my husband has a new job in Chicago. The city of Naperville was suggested to us re: renting a home. Just wondering what Naperville is like...we have 2 young children so we defninitely want a home versus apartment to rent. Is this a family friendly/nice place to live?
TIA
Re: Moving question
You will love Naperville! Good schools, great downtown area, good community! Stay away from Aurora (except North Aurora), and you'll be good.
They have a DuPage Children's Museum, just North of the downtown area, a river walk, and good shopping and restaurants! You may want to rent first just to see which area of Naperville you prefer, but I'm sure you'll like it once you move!
Good Luck! : )
Naperville is great. It is one of the largest suburbs so there is a ton to do, their downtown is so nice.
I grew up in Wheaton, which is just north of Naperville and also very nice. Other towns you should look in to: Warrenville (they are in the Wheaton school district), Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove, Lisle, and Lombard. All are in the same general area- western suburbs.
