Friends dog got into comet.. Help!!

My friends, bf's dog got into comet last night or sometime in the middle of the night and she's been puking and pooping. The Bf won't take the dog to the er vet and my friend doesn't have the money to take the dog in herself, The bf says he will take the dog to the vet tomorrow.

What can they do today for the dog? Anything?

IMO, not taking that dog to the vet is neglect. He got into poison!! What the heck is wrong with people.

I'm with the PP. If they can't afford a vet visit, why have a pet. The dogs life is at stake. They could try calling the emergency line and ask what to do but I'm pretty sure getting the dog to a doctor should be #1 priority here.

They should start by calling the E vet and asking what to do. They can at least advise over the phone. At the very least call around to find a vet that is open on Sundays.

If they can't pay they can surrender the dog in many cases.

  My friend has her own dog that she is fully responsible for and takes damn good care of, if she had the money she'd be taking the  bf's dog to the vet she unfortunately doesn't. I will tell her to call around though.
